LEVEL 2:
THREE ILLUSTRATIONS

OBJECTIVE:
Students will create three related illustrations that adhere to a theme/topic/character/idea of the student's choice.

SUGGESTIONS:
  1. Make sure your illustrations are related. You can even have them bleed into one another (literally be connected, like a triptych).
  2. Consider having your illustrations represent the beginning, middle, and end of you idea/topic, etc. How can you show some kind of progression (or regression)?
  3. If you need help choosing an idea, consider a famous story or character that has a clear beginning, middle and end.

TIPS:
Choose an compositional element to guide your art making, such as leading lines, diagonals, rule of thirds, symmetry, etc. Also, choose a principle of design/art to focus your work, such as emphasis, pattern, movement, space/scale, etc.

RUBRIC:
You will be graded using the 2D Art Rubric.
