DRAWING TIPS

Tips for Drawing Anything Accurately
Learn these simple tips and tricks and you'll be able to draw anything. Also, check out the slideshow below for more thorough explanations for all of these tips.
  1. Look for simple shapes, letters, and numbers.
  2. Constantly check negative space.
  3. Press lightly with a non-mechanical pencil.
  4. "Connect the dots."
  5. Check your resource (what you're drawing from) often.
  6. Draw what you see, not what you "think" you see.
  7. Use the "clock" method.
  8. "Measure" with your pencil.
  9. Look at your art upside down.
  10. Look at your art in a mirror.
  11. Step back and look at your art from a distance.
  12. Ask a peer how they think you're doing.
  13. Take and give advice (politely).
