CERAMIC CASTLES AND HOUSES

ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS:
How can texture enhance an artwork?
Why is detail important?

STUDENT EXAMPLES
ADVICE FROM STUDENTS

  1. Do all your needed measurements on your first day. It will make the project more efficient and you won't have to worry about what measurements you did and did not take.
  2. Don't start the small details or textures until you finish everything else.
  3. Carefully plan everything out before starting.
  4. If you are doing 4 walls, always attach them with coils and slip and score to keep things down. Also, don't let your walls get too hard/dry.
